Yes. Our entries are capped at 3000 participants for the safety of runners.
Entries close at midnight on Thursday 10 September 2026 or as soon as our limit on participants is reached.
There will be no on-the day entries
Entries are available at Pirates Club reception Mon-Thu between 10h00-17h00, Fri 12h00-17h00

All Race Pack and Number collection is from Pirates Club, 25 Braeside Road, Greenside:
- Friday 11 September: 12h00-17h00
- Saturday 12 September: 09h00-15h00
- Sunday 13 September: 05h00-06h00
We urge you to collect before Race Day
Please ensure you have a proof of entry to show when collecting race number and race pack
You can substitute by giving the new entrant a letter with a copy of your ID stating you are handing the entry over to this person who is collecting.
Substitutions can only be processed during the Friday or Saturday Registration times and not on Sunday morning.
There is a R50 substitution fee

Very limited parking is available on the club premises with additional parking at Greenside High School.
We urge runners to use e-hailing or share lifts as parking is limited.
Portaloos are provided in the parking prior to the start. The clubhouse is NOT OPEN to runners before the start. The Ladies changeroom (with showers) in the Clubhouse will be open from 7:30am. The Men’s changeroom and showers are to the west of the Clubhouse above the fields.
The starting point is along Cruden Bay Road at our east campus (to the left of the four-way stop when exiting from the main Club gate)
The race will be timed mat to mat. Your timing chip will be provided and is included in your entry.
Absolutely! There will be coffee trucks and we have two fantastic restaurants: The Grill @ Pirates and The Green Room (next to the start) offering great breakfast options. The bar will also be open so be sure to stay and enjoy our outdoor space! Please note there is no ATM at the Club.
The cut off time for the runners is at 09h30am
